Let's get together to read some great books and have some great conversation! The 20 and 30 something ladies of Walnut Creek should get together and read everything from Chick Lit to Political Bio's. Looking for a place to discuss a great book, life events and the latest gossip, then this meet up is for you!

Our group is for women over the age of 50 (or nearing the age of 50!) who would like to read a variety of genres to discuss with a friendly group of women who also like to read. We generally meet either at one another's homes or a quiet restaurant or bookstore. If you are interested, join the fun!

This group was started because my book club never read the books. We decided to go to the theatre and have a discussion after the show. I was desperate for support from other Moms but couldn't figure out how to get the support I needed, while respecting my child's privacy. Instead, I found support from books, life coaching, and a few doctors. We're a group of mothers whose oldest children were born in 2005 or 2006. Most of us also have younger children, but our meetup schedule reflects that many of them are in some type of school most days. We love to get the kids together for park days whenever possible, especially on school breaks. Our activities for mothers include a weekly evening walk, monthly book group and monthly Mom's Night Out. We'd love to meet you!
