From the humble beginnings of a few avid readers meeting once a month in London in 2008, The Girly Book Club network now extends around the world and would be delighted to welcome you, wherever you are! This group will meet on a monthly basis for a meal and to swap one very gently used book. To make it more fun, we wrap the books like presents and include a short description of why you enjoyed it. These will be themed very loosely. Watch the announcements for that month's theme. It's fun to meet fellow bibliophiles, share good conversation over a meal, then go home with a new book at the end of the evening. We will meet in restaurants as well as the occasional potluck at a member's home. This …
I love the movie "The Jane Austen Book Club." I also love Jane Austen and reading. This group will read all six of Jane's books, The Jane Austen Book Club and books inspired by Jane and her books (like "Mr. Darcy Broke My Heart"). We can also watch some of the movie adaptations of the books. So, if you love Jane Austen or just want to read some classic English romance novels, this might be the group for you.

We will meet once a month and discuss one book per month. Books will be selected through a nomination and voting process, three months at a time. At the beginning of the month, questions will be provided to consider as you read. This is a great group of people, all of whom love to read and we look forward to meeting others with the same love of books! Don't live in Cane Ridge? You are still welcome!
Hey ladies! This is a book club for 20's, 30's aged professional and/or mommy ladies in the Nashville/Brentwood/Franklin area. I love to read and love discussing books over a glass (or two) of wine. If you love chick lit, literature novels, and basically anything to spark a conversation with some great food and great wine! If you are interested, please join.

We are taking a summer break and reading the second book in the series and will meet in September to discuss the entire book. Here is a synopsis: "The Ringing Cedars of Russia". The second book of the series, in addition to providing a fascinating behind the scenes look at the story of how 'Anastasia' came to be published, offers a deeper exploration of the universal concepts so dramatically revealed in Book 1. It takes the reader on a adventure through the vast expanses of space, time and s …

Welcome! If you're interested in reading and discussing classic literature written by dead people (with an occasional still-living contender for a place in the canon), please join. We'll be reading everyone from Thomas Hardy to Mark Twain and discussing why these authors continue to be so popular years after their death. By looking not only at the text, but also film and stage adaptations and the following that has grown up around it, we will come away with a richer understanding of the work-- …

This group will help forge close friendships just as if we were sisters. Are you single? married? single mom? have children? no children? working mom? stay-at-home mom? Does it matter? No! The only requirement is that you are a woman looking to share happy moments with someone else. Also, this group is geared towards women who are over 35 years old.
